Location: Clifton, NJ
Type: Direct Hire
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid (4 days in office)
Hours: 8:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Coordinator helps support planning and turns it into action by aligning product priorities with operation capacity to ensure supply plans are clear, feasible and followed. The role will be the primary liaison between customer
service, production planning, product management and procurement. The Supply Chain Coordinator will support linking the demand and supply plans in their region, with their counterparts globally to ensure a high level of performance for customer fulfilment. Lead regional Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) for intercompany goods being purchased and sold by the North American region from other company entities globally. Review forecasts vs sales and provide regular feedback to the business on performance vs forecast. Communicate any large deviations in regional demand or supply to the origins of production or demand, globally. Be the liaison between production planning and product management to ensure supply plans are executed to achieve company goals. Align customer and business requirements with operations such as the stocking decisions for products. This would include reviewing and adjusting stocking plans as needed in conjunction with product management and production planning. Work with Finance and Product management to parse budgets and provide pertinent information to various parts of the organization such as intercompany volumes of each product, by the region where they are produced, Annual demand for raw materials. Etc.) Coordinate this information with the counterpart in the other regions. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for placing and management of all intercompany ordering of sellable goods for the AMERICAs region. Maintain and continuously improve the supply chain process. Document and ensure compliance with ISO and other certification standards. Continuously improve data and KPIs we use to track business performance. Work with production planning on capacity planning as part of the regular S&OP process to ensure resources are meeting demand. Review Make vs Buy potentials from other affiliates for various reasons such as capacity, financial, customer, regulatory or technology/equipment driven. Work with the business unit, product manager, procurement, production planning, customer service and others in operations to support/resolve any supply disruptions. Be the escalation point should there be carrier issues for the outbound deliveries and support resolution for internal customers. Work with our regional supply chain and procurement team on our strategy for logistics, including transportation, warehousing and forwarding/brokerage. Quote transportation lanes as needed and formalize process to standardize pricing for frequently used lanes. Relay insights and market intelligence to key stakeholders, such as product and business unit managers. Provide reports on supplier performance, cost and inventory position to the business leaders as needed. Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent – preferably in Supply Management or a related field, Master’s degree is preferred College graduate, 2+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain desired, APICS, CPM, CPSM a plus Strong proficiency using SAP Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer focus and service Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and build consensus across stakeholders, sometimes globally.
