Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Coordinator who will establish, maintain, and ensure internal understanding of client-specific global operating procedures. The ideal candidate will act as the lead contact for problem resolution and day-to-day operations for assigned customers, coordinate with internal team members, sales, and external third parties to mitigate disruptions to the customer's supply chain, and provide best-in-class service with a customer-centric attitude.
ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain internal understanding of client-specific global operating procedures.Act as lead contact for problem resolution and day-to-day operations for assigned customers.Coordinate with internal team members, sales, and external third parties to mitigate disruptions to the customer's supply chain.Provide best-in-class service with a customer-centric attitude, proactively preventing supply chain disruptions.Verify document accuracy and send to appropriate parties.Track and trace shipments daily.Create and update Excel spreadsheets.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency with ERP systems.Excellent data entry skills.Strong customer service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of supply chain and logistics.Experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.Additional Skills & QualificationsOpportunity for permanent position at a small family-owned company.Ability to wear multiple hats and learn new things.Exposure to both upstream and downstream supply chain operations.Desired degree fields: Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management.2+ years of equivalent work experience in a related field considered.Qualifying experience in roles such as Supply Chain Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Sales Support, Procurement, Shipping/Receiving, Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator, Data Entry Clerk, Ocean Freight.Proven ability to learn new software systems.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with varying degrees of urgency and long lead times.Work Environment
This position is onsite in Santa Monica, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with a small team where your contributions have a larger impact on the business than in a larger company. You will gain valuable exposure to supply chain operations, both upstream and downstream.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
