Supply Chain and Trade Compliance specialist
**Job Description:** Trade Compliance: Compliance specialists help organization ensure that their operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. They are responsible for monitoring and documenting compliance activities, advising leadership and management on compliance matters, and liaising with government agencies. Compliance specialists are an essential part of any organization that wants to stay compliant with regulations. By ensuring that all of their operations are documented and monitored, they can ensure that your business is in compliance with all the rules in place **.** Supply Chain: Support and work closely to the SCM for ensuring the requested (VOC) customer service and shipping quality levels while minimizing total inventory level and managing the necessary resources, including Transportation & Logistic (T&L) costs and organization **Main Responsiblities:** General: Support SCM to develop OTD/Inventory/T&L strategy to meet Envista KPI’s. Contribute to the optimization of all aspects of the integrated supply chain (order entry, purchasing, manufacturing master planning, inventory, distribution, delivery quality, freight systems, forwarders and costs). Strongly participate/support/execute the T&L strategy, organization, structure (and all IMEX activities to ensure that all import-export activity is in full compliance with all trade laws and regulations). **Trade Compliance** : + Manage all necessary import documentation, including shipping bills, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, licenses and customs documents. + Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and carriers to arrange and monitor the transportation of goods. + Actively collaborate with purchasing, logistics, warehouse and finance departments to ensure efficient operational flow. + Ensure that all customs procedures are carried out correctly, including the correct classification of the products, the determination of the origin and the compliance with the free trade agreements. + Ensure that all import activities are carried out in compliance with International Trade, Customs and Government Agency Laws & Regulations for Kerr entities in EMEA. + Help develop, implement, and support Envista’s Trade Compliance strategy + Support the interpretation and application of regulations and raise contacts for irregularities in trade and customs matters. + Identify and implement duty reduction opportunities and general process improvements, working to develop, audit, and support Envista’s trade programs. + Drive standardization of import/export processes and internal control procedures, including drafting local SOP/procedures for trade compliance & customs activities. + Work closely with local operations (Logistics, Planning & Manufacturing) to seamlessly integrate Global Trade activities into overall operations. + Train employees on customs regulations and other compliance matters + Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and regulations + Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations related to international trade + Maintain records and documentation related to import/export activities. + Strongly support the SCM for Trade Compliance strategy **Supply Chain :** + Run raw material planning reports, using Oracle ERP, every day to ensure BPA releases will be placed in time. + Place BPA Releases/ Standard POs and send them to suppliers + Stay in contact with suppliers to ensure they will satisfy delivery date needs to avoid Raw Materials stock Out Work closely with quality, production, and Warehouse departments to ensure best performance for Return to Supplier, Inventory Receipt in time, Order placing flexibility due to Customer Demand Changes + Contribute to ensure excellent OTD (On-Time-Delivery) Level of customer orders (target > 95%). As support of SCM Develop, execute and follow-up the action plan, KPI and Problem-Solving Process (PSP). Prevent and control stock outs risk. + Contribute to the inventory turns improvement. + Support the SCM to develop, execute and maintain the action plan, KPI and PSP as required. Participate to the PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory) Process for Kerr Scafati, Contribute to optimize inventory levels with focus on customer service. Support SCM to ensure SOX inventory compliance. + Participate to initiatives with other related departments (e.g. production, procurement, quality) to implement EBS and continuous improvement/Kaizen culture. + Understands and proper applies the Quality System (including all SOP’s, CAPA, NCM, etc.), the EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Policy and of any other applicable company Policy and Procedure as well as applicable laws, including, but not limited to, import/export compliance. + Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 / 13485 as well as good manufacturing practices (GMP). **Job Requirements:** **Formazione necessaria:** + Economic/Engineering degree. **Esperienze Professionali necessarie:** + Relevant experience in trade compliance or international trade + Supply Chain role min 2 years + Experience of Lean Production organizations + Project management **Competenze/Capacità necessarie (tecniche, metodologiche e sociali):** + Customer oriented, can listen to VOC (Voice-Of-Customer) + Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills + Excellent logistics and process management knowledge and competencies + Very good leadership and people management skills + Manage by objectives, results-oriented + Very good problem-solving skills + Very good ERP (Oracle) , and MS Office knowledge + Excellent Italian and English knowledge. + Good in cross-functional project management and teamwork + Good communication and interpersonal skills with own associates and with associates in different functions and at different levels + Professional, able to present effectively to Customers, Suppliers, and the Management Team **Operating Company:** Kerr Envista and its family of companies (Envista) will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate.
