Position Summary:
Provides business analysis to the supply chain functions such as production shop floor, engineering, marketing managers, procurement, materials management of not just one plant but across different plants and other business unit in reviewing, analyzing, documenting and validating user requirements, applications and processes. Enhances product workflow and develops supply chain project plans to streamline production planning, distribution order management and inventory control providing visibility to customers, commercial businesses and all supply chain functions. This position typically supports not just one business entity.Major Responsibilities:
Leads and collaborates with different cross functional managers with regards to their supply chain project plans in supporting the business tactical and strategic business plans.Gathers and evaluates data from multiple sources of different business units. Analyzes, reconciles and identifies measurable opportunities for improvement. Identifies and implements audit processes to ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.Initiate the demand forecast accuracy analysis and provide a deeper analysis on the dynamics of the forecast error monthly. Participate on the Executive S&OP discussion to help give a better understanding on how the demand is coming in using the analysis done on demand forecast. Provide complex data analysis in aiding the creation of business decisions of the whole business unit.Liaises with product managers, materials managers, and support teams to drive projects to timely completion. Manages the project portfolio, provides feedback to the leadership team on resource planning, issues, opportunities, and recommendations to improve timeliness.Develops and maintains processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity of supply chain applications across multiple plants and multiple business units. Creates and maintains workflows and approval processes based on internal stakeholder requirementsActs as subject matter expert for new processes, KPI’s, and data management and aid in training for new processes. Collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Partners with various managers to design optimal solutions that meet the business needs of our internal and external customers.Manages ongoing support requests to support supply planning leads (material managers, plant managers and product managers). Interfaces with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into supply chain projects and implementation. Supports any other core Procurement/Supply Chain programs that will impact the overall Supply Chain decision;Assist in report development and in gathering data for executive SIOP review presentations.In conjunction with SIOP goals and directives, develop a demand plan utilizing systems & tools including PO execution coupled with coordinating and resolving supply constraints which would impact Inventory goals, customer fill-rates, and Inventory exposure.Monitor materials inventory and supply levels, assuring that requirements for the assigned product line are filled in a timely and cost effective manner and that stocking levels are maintained within established guidelines.Review Open Purchase Orders and Backlogs on an on-going basis to execute expediting and schedule push outs as required, and update of system dock dates providing accurate analysis of incoming supply and projected inventory.Manage supply issues, including lead time development, on-time shipping performance, and logistics lead times to support fill-rate objectives.Develop a Fill Rate report to help analyze the fill rate result of all product lines. Main in charge in getting the reasons and countermeasures per planner on why fill rate was low.Develop reports and trend analysis schedules as required to track major objectives but not limited to supplier lead time, inventory dollars, projected inventory, fill rate objectives, and other items as assigned.Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Have at least 5 years’ experience as Analyst for Supply Chain.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree.Detailed oriented and accurateProficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables), MS Access, and MS PowerPointWell-developed analytical skills, articulate, innovative and confidentFlexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordinglyVery good communication skills, verbal and writtenSelf-starter and a strong team player
Preferred:
