The Chanel Fashion Information Systems Department is a strategic partner in excellence and  value creation for Fashion. Its ambition is to support daily activities and the evolution of  Fashion's market positioning through ultra-efficient, innovative information systems that meet  both: 

The quality of service and efficiency requirements, reflecting the excellence of our  products and our ultimate luxury customer experience; The exceptional pace of collections (10 per year). 

To achieve this, the Chanel Fashion IT teams must demonstrate responsiveness, agility, ingenuity,  pragmatism, anticipation, strategic vision, and a fine understanding of business challenges to  support the uniqueness of our operational model. 

YOUR MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

As the Supply Chain, Distribution & Regional-Market Animation IT Director, reporting to the Head  of Merchandising, Buying, and Supply Chain Domain IT Director, you are responsible for building  and managing a new team, also relying on external resources/consulting budget, to fulfill the  following missions : 

Define the IT roadmap for your domain in line with business challenges and, as much as  possible, propose ways to create market differentiation through the use of technologies. Act as the strategic IT partner for the functional entities in charge of Fashion Product  Distribution Supply Chain activities, challenging and inspiring business leaders in the  division, regions, and markets to offer them the best solutions. With the support of your team and other Fashion IT teams, as well as Global and  Regional teams, implement the IT vision for your scope, taking into account business  specifics and priority needs to meet business challenges.Be responsible for building your budget, defining governance and necessary means to  succeed in your missions, and constructing and animating your roadmap. Provide high-quality IT service for all functional domain activities you cover through tool  development projects and maintenance of existing services. Consequently, you are  responsible for the design, build, and run of applications and underlying technical services supporting your functional domain activities. You are responsible for data  quality within your scope (source, frequency, availability, reliability, consistency) and for  providing reporting and data analysis tools. For Design and Build, support business leaders in evolving their activities by projecting  the evolution of relevant systems and applications: monitoring and anticipating business  challenges and possible solutions, evolution strategy to meet needs, solution design,  tool selection, sometimes piloting implementation by your teams, sometimes with  internal or external partners. Partner with other IT domains (notably Collection Development) within the Fashion IT  department and in the Regions to provide solutions and application services they will  need to meet their own business "face-offs." Collaborate closely with IT expert functions (notably Tech engineering, Adoption, Data  management, etc.) to ensure they provide the technical services you need. For the run, guarantee daily service quality and performance on business applications  within your scope: performance monitoring, maintenance, problem resolution, user  support. 


Within the IT strategy defined by the Head of Merchandising, Buying & Supply Chain Domain IT  Director and in partnership with the Fashion Supply Chain management, you are responsible for: 

Replacing the current ERP of the Fashion division by studying, framing, and  implementing new generation tools perfectly aligned with the specific business needs of  fashion and the target technical architecture of the division's information systems, while  proposing the most modern technologies. Influencing and supporting Corporate & Regional ERP teams in designing and  implementing "End-To-End" Fashion Supply Chain flows and operations in regional  entities and markets up to boutiques. Being the main and privileged point of contact for regional and market teams in the  Merchandising, Buying, and Supply Chain domain of the Fashion IT department and  animating them on all project and run activities within the domain.

As a Director, you represent the Head of Domain and the Fashion IT department to the leaders of  your business scope and contribute to its image of efficiency and excellence. You will put your  human and technical qualities at the service of your missions:

Demonstrate a strong capacity for challenge and engagement, driving IT topics with a  Tech vision connected to business challenges, to be an engaged, appreciated, and  recognized interlocutor by business leaders within your scope. Be proactive and "co-define" the IT strategy of the Head of Merchandising, Buying &  Supply Chain Domain for your Supply Chain Distribution scope, in line with business  challenges and priorities and the overall IT roadmap. You have a vision of the impacts  and contributions of technologies on the businesses you support, to feed this strategy  and anticipate relevant evolutions. Understand business challenges within your scope and have a systemic thinking  approach to relate elements and support business arbitration impacting CHANEL's  information systems. Possess recognized communication and persuasion skills to interact with all your  interlocutors: within the Fashion ecosystem, with regions and Corporate, both internally  and with business and technology partners. You know how to animate and engage a wide  network of stakeholders. Demonstrate curiosity for market and technological evolutions and their impacts,  detecting opportunities to stay ahead, change sector practices, and pivot operational  models. 

Within your area of responsibility, you demonstrate the following skills and qualities: 

Mastery and solid experience in information systems, applications, and essential  technical fundamentals for Supply Chain Distribution activities, particularly Enterprise  Resource Planning (ERP) systems for a division in charge of product development,  production, and distribution, as well as regional and market distribution for local Retail  and Boutique commercialization. With your team, ensure end-to-end coherence and availability of order management  systems for purchasing and sales, inventory, billing, and shipping with strong integration  with logistics, transport, and export-import customs operations. Organize your scope to deliver a "seamless" service from/to the raw materials  warehouse with central teams and manufacturers, through suppliers and Global, Local  Distribution Centers to Boutiques in all markets worldwide. Coordinate the actions of numerous teams, being at the center of a complex network  between different upstream-downstream Supply Chain businesses and IT in the Fashion  division, Corporate, regions, and markets. Have confirmed professional experience in the Luxury and/or Retail industry in an  international environment.
