Healthcare is evolving, and Global Procurement is responding by continuously striving for the highest possible performance, taking innovative and strategic approaches to business and supplier partnerships. Global Procurement proactively manages the entire supplier ecosystem, making a vital contribution to improving health outcomes, reducing costs for patients and global healthcare systems, and ensuring that Roche continues doing now what patients need next.
As the Supplier Services Manager, you will work in a dynamic global environment where you will meet the challenge to bring innovation, market expertise, and supplier-enabled service delivery to meet business problems and market opportunities. Using your in-depth knowledge and expertise in Travel and Fleet supplier management, operations, and procurement strategies, you deliver outstanding service performance, achieving exceptional customer service experience and enhancing supplier partnerships to support customer needs and solve business problems. You will work closely with procurement colleagues, business customers, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders, either as a peer, coach, project/squad lead, or team lead, to bring innovative, market-driven solutions to the business.
**The Opportunity:**
As a Supplier Services Manager, you will take on a variety of roles based on your experience, expertise, and the evolving needs of the business. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Acting as a domain knowledge and subject matter expert, providing input, guidance, and insight within the Travel and Fleet focus area. This includes supporting business needs, opportunities, and analytical or advisory topics such as reporting, supplier relationship management (SRM), outsourced operations, and project management.
+ Advocating and influencing across stakeholder groups to drive alignment, innovation, and impact, while bringing strong storytelling and consulting capabilities to the table.
+ Being accountable for delivery against key metrics, including achievement of targets, adherence to deadlines, and upholding quality standards.
+ Designing, creating, and maintaining performance data dashboards, while ensuring insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders and service providers.
+ Driving continuous performance improvement by identifying gaps across supplier capabilities and internal competencies, as well as promoting collaboration and integration with other products and initiatives.
+ Collaborating with teams, networks, and squads to define and fulfill the roles required to deliver both project-based and foundational work.
Success in this role depends on the consistent demonstration of key mindsets and behaviors such as entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise thinking, inclusive collaboration, analytical rigor, and a commitment to continuous learning - that shape our culture and guide how we work.
**Who you are:**
+ You hold a university degree, preferably in business, and bring solid experience in procurement, supply chain, and specifically in Travel & Fleet management. Experience in a matrix organization is a strong advantage.
+ You have a proven track record in developing and implementing strategies and driving operational excellence and innovation in Travel & Fleet services or related markets.
+ You are confident working with data and analytics, ideally with hands-on experience in Travel & Fleet datasets.
+ You’re proficient in Google Suite and Excel, and it’s a plus if you’re familiar with tools like ThoughtSpot or Tableau.
+ You excel in fostering strong, productive relationships with both internal teams and external partners, always working towards shared goals and mutual success.
+ You think beyond silos - acting as an enterprise thinker who connects dots across functions.
+ You bring a proactive, action-oriented mindset and are comfortable making decisions and influencing others.
+ You demonstrate openness, active listening, and a willingness to experiment.
+ You’re committed to continuous learning and generously share your knowledge while remaining receptive to feedback and new perspectives.
