Job Title: Supplier Quality Professional

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 in office days a week

Working Location: Indianapolis, IN

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Quality Professional to join our team. As a member of the Rolls-Royce MRO team, you will play a key role to help drive our business performance.  This role is a support position within the MRO Services organization aligned to our Value Streams and based in Indianapolis.  It is a key resource for our leadership team and interface internally and externally on a regular basis.  The ideal candidate must be able to coordinate many different kinds of operational activities in a technically diverse global environment.  This is not a fully remote position.

What you will be doing:

Collaborate with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations meet our standardsMonitor supplier performance and support efforts to develop and implement changes to improve the production processFollow up with suppliers on quality deviations and ensures that solutions are identified and implementedEnsure audits are conducted as assigned to ensure suppliers meet required specificationsMust be able to travel domestically up to 20%

Basic Requirements:Associate’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Business and 4+ years of experience aviation discipline, ORBachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Business and 2+ years of experience in an aviation discipline, ORMaster's Degree in Engineering, Technology or Business, ORJD/PhD, ORIn lieu of a degree 6+ years of experience in an aviation discipline

Preferred Requirements: Ability to prioritize, work independently or in a team environment with a strong customer focusAbility to develop and maintain relationships with shop personnelExperience working with multiple business functions, both technical and non-technicalCertified AuditorKnowledge of SAP for Quality Notification Management8D Practitioner / Coach
