There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Ensure that supplied products and services perform according to quality standards and that vendor manufacturing processes are capable and qualified. + Responsible for inspection plan for supplied aviation hardware + Uses and teaches trouble shooting techniques to problem solve supplier Quality issues. + Developing conceptual knowledge in manufacturing quality. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area. + Applies quality knowledge through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area. + Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. + Collaborates with suppliers and sourcing quality to solve issues. Develops strong supplier relationships and serves as the interface between supplier and GE. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
