Responsibilities:
Manage supplier inspection activities for welded and machined parts
Review and interpret engineering drawings, WPS/PQRs, and ensure inspections follow design and quality requirements
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation
Coordinate with internal teams (Sourcing, Engineering, Quality Assurance) and act as main contact at supplier site
Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality, delivery, and performance
Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and support corrective actions
Ensure compliance with standards (ISO, ASME) and support NDT validation activities
Requirements:
Education: Technical diploma or university degree in Welding or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Proven experience in fabrication and welding inspection, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and Non-Destructive Testing, including Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing, and Visual Testing.
Professional Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Personal Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and teamwork abilities; proactive, quality-focused mindset.
Traveling: Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%, primarily to visit suppliers across Europe.
