Description:You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Staff for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of supplies and materials from external partners, playing a critical role in the success of our projects.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Supplier Quality Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes for our suppliers. You will work closely with suppliers across the United States to ensure compliance with our quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Developing and implementing quality control processes for suppliers
-Conducting audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
-Traveling moderately to support supplier activity across the United States

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Basic Qualifications:
-STEM degree at Bachelor's level or above and/or equivalent experience/combined education

-Engineering or Quality experience developing methods / processes, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products

-Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related performance metrics

-Experience leading a team or project

-Experience working with suppliers

-Ability to travel (typically around 25%)
Desired Skills:
-STEM Degree at Bachelors level or higher preferred

-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

-Process Engineering experience

-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

-Advanced AS9100 Interpretation and application experience.

-Experience working with Government customers

-Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening and technical writing

-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

-Experience with process capability analysis and interpretation, gage R&R, measurement system analysis

-Advanced experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
