Description:You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of supplier quality, driving the success of our projects and programs.

As the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic quality plans for our suppliers. You will leverage your expertise to identify areas for improvement and drive supplier performance excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Developing and implementing strategic quality plans for suppliers
-Leading audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues
-Mentoring junior team members to develop their skills and expertise
-Traveling moderately to support supplier activity across the United States

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at the bachelor’s level or equivalent experience/combined education.

Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance; candidate must be a U.S. citizen.

Quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.

In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.

Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.

Failure Review Board experience for troubleshooting failures and identifying resolutions including for electrical testing.

Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.

Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.

Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

Effectively interact with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders.

Demonstrated presentation skills.

Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Ability to work a flexible schedule (after hours or weekends when needed)
Desired Skills:
STEM degree at bachelor’s level or higher highly preferred.

Electrical Systems/Electrical Engineering experience.

Engineering drawing review experience.

Experience with First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.

AS9100 interpretation and application experience.

Thorough knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS).

Electrical Engineering experience with knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics
Experience working with Government customers and suppliers.

Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.

Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
