If you are a Supply Quality Engineer looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Louisville, KY, you will be responsible for supplier quality performance management to ensure the quality of raw material from suppliers are stable and reliable.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
Keep smooth communication with supplier about quality issues on a day-to-day basis Conduct supplier system audit and process audit in compliance with company requirement Report supplier parts quality, and participate in supplier performance assessment Follow up engineering changing request and confirm the result Analyze quality issues from production, incoming inspection, or customer feedback, prepare and lead internal/external quality discussions due to suppliers’ quality incidents Propose improving and corrective actions regarding supplier quality failure Conduct on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective action of supplier quality issues Participate in the development and implementation of cost reduction projects with suppliers Provide training to supplier regarding quality standards, technology, Emerson quality requirementsWho you are:

For this role, you will need:
A minimum of 3 years of related of production or operations experience in a manufacturing or similar industry. Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% domestically The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously is essential Must demonstrate versatility, leadership, and self-motivation Demonstrated ability to meet project schedule requirements Organization skills and good communication skills are important Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment with disciplined processes Familiar with the quality system (ISO-9001:2015) Well experienced in using quality control tools such as FEMA, 8D or 5why Knowledge of measurement techniques Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available for this position)Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
