Supplier Quality Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to join us and help raise the bar for supplier quality, ensuring high standards and driving improvements across the value chain. At Endress+Hauser Flow, we specialize in flow measurement technologies that serve industries around the globe. Based in Reinach, our team is passionate about driving innovation, quality, and collaboration in everything we do.

Then you’re exactly who we’re looking for! In this exciting role, you’ll support the global quality standards of our supply chain and work closely with colleagues from procurement, development, and production. You will report to the Head of Supply Chain Quality.

 

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

Take responsibility for supplier development throughout the entire product lifecycle – from selection to series production and phase-out Analyse quality issues with suppliers in series production and implement long-term corrective and preventive actions Evaluate the quality performance of your suppliers based on defined KPIs and identify potential for improvement Support suppliers in the sustainable implementation of corrective and preventive measures Define quality requirements in the procurement process and support supplier qualification activities Help shape global quality standards within the supply chain and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes Work closely with international sites, cross-functional teams, and external partners

 

What do we expect from you?

You:

Have a degree in engineering, quality management, or a comparable technical qualification Bring several years of professional experience in supplier quality or quality management – ideally in mechanical and/or electronic manufacturing Understand quality methods and management systems such as ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, and 8D Are confident in using MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus Have experience with audits and quality tools (e.g., control plans, PFMEA, PPAP) Ideally hold a Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) Work analytically and solution-oriented, and enjoy working in cross-functional teams Communicate fluently in German and English Are open to occasional business travel (up to 20–30%) Are a team player who acts flexibly and with strong communication skills
