Description:You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for the Supplier Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for implementing quality principles across various areas, including design, production control, and research and development, to ensure the highest standards of product or process quality. We develop and maintain quality systems that drive continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of our operations.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and implementing quality plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met and maintained
• Analyzing data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for quality improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a
STEM discipline or higher with a minimum of 2
years of professional experience
• The position requires about 10-25% travel
within the United States
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering
drawings
• Experience working in a cross functional
environment
• Experience in Quality Engineering processes
• Root Cause Analysis experience (Cause
Mapping, 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.)
• Experience conducting First Article Inspections
(FAI) to AS9102
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Quality Management Systems,
Industry Standards and LM command media
e.g., AS9100, ISO-9001, IPC and J-STD
• Experience performing complete root
cause/corrective and/or preventive action as
related to internal and external customers and
supplier performance
• Working knowledge of continuous
improvement
• Strong communication skills
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
