The Interior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for managing different supplier locations and parts to ensure high quality products are produced and transported to Stellantis Assembly Plants. The engineer will provide on-site launch support to suppliers' facilities to ensure launch readiness as required, leading up to and including program launch. They will also be responsible for managing post launch continuous improvement activities and to provide on-site support at Stellantis assembly plants as required. The Engineer will also be responsible for working cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure proper designs, suppliers and manufacturing processes are selected.
Within our Supplier Quality Engineering role, we ask that our engineer's drive change within both plant manufacturing and component suppliers to resolve complex component issues. It is the engineer's responsibility to ensure component suppliers' processes are robust and capable to stay on track and manage key component quality milestones. Overall, the engineer will lead all problem-solving activities with internal and external organizations, manage warranty with their suppliers, and ensure best practices/lessons learned are applied across the several different vehicle programs.

Perform supplier quality systems and process audits and lead Supplier Improvement/Development Programs Establish close relationships with assigned suppliers and actively drive continuous improvement activities Initiate and follow-up on corrective actions and verify effectiveness on-site Participation in launch teams, lead and coordinate APQP/PPAP deliverables for purchased components within supplier quality group Assist in educating suppliers on Stellantis systems and requirements Lead and support supplier APQP and PPAP activities to ensure all deliverables are being fulfilled Work with Engineering and Supplier Organizations to alleviate discrepancies in product specifications and evaluate cost reduction opportunitiesBasic Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive (or similar) Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent program 8 years or more of work experience in automotive engineering, manufacturing, or supplier quality areas Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment Comfortable leading and directing supplier meetings Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks Creative problem-solving ability and results orientated approach Proficient in using Microsoft Office Ability to travel within the USA and Canada (up to 40% travel may be required from time to time)Preferred Qualifications:
