Shape Supplier Excellence. Strengthen Aircraft Reliability. Grow With Us.
Dayton-Granger, Inc. (DG) has been building critical aerospace systems for over 82 years—serving major military and commercial aviation programs across the globe. From our fully integrated facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL, we design, test, and manufacture antennas, lightning protection, and electrostatic components with precision and speed.
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, highly regulated environments and wants to take ownership of supplier performance from day one. In this role, you'll go beyond compliance—partnering directly with suppliers, analyzing risks, and driving sustainable improvements that impact product quality, delivery, and cost. You'll also work closely with our internal teams to shape inspection plans and resolve issues before they affect production.
If you're motivated by results, confident working with data, and want your work to be directly tied to aircraft safety and supplier success—this is your opportunity to lead and grow.
What You'll Do:
+ Own the supplier quality process—auditing, qualifying, and improving performance across key partners.
+ Drive corrective actions using proven methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Root Cause/Corrective Action).
+ Manage FAIR review and approval per AS9102 and customer expectations.
+ Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement to align quality standards.
+ Track key metrics (PPM, OTD, NCRs), lead risk mitigation, and drive supplier accountability.
+ Ensure documentation is compliant, current, and ready for internal or customer audits.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase reliability and reduce delays.
+ Act as the primary point of contact for all supplier quality issues.
What You'll Bring:
Required:
+ Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred)
+ 3+ years of experience in supplier quality within a manufacturing environment
+ Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and regulated industry standards
+ Hands-on experience with supplier audits, inspection planning, and root cause analysis
+ Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
+ Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
+ CQE or CSQE certification
+ Familiarity with global or multi-site supply chains
Why Join DG:
At DG, your work matters—and your voice is heard. We've built a legacy of innovation and reliability over eight decades, but our team operates with the agility and trust of a modern, tight-knit company. You'll work on real problems, make real improvements, and see the results of your impact on the parts that fly.
With all departments under one roof and cross-functional collaboration built into our culture, you'll gain exposure, responsibility, and growth opportunities that are hard to find elsewhere in aerospace.
Benefits Include:
+ Competitive pay and performance recognition
+ Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
+ 401(k) with company match
+ PTO and paid holidays
+ Paid parental leave
+ Life and disability insurance
+ Tuition reimbursement
+ On-site gym
+ Access to advanced technology and tools
+ Regular team events and company-wide recognition
