Join Resideo as a key liaison to our suppliers, ensuring component manufacturing meets our quality standards and strategic goals. In this role, you’ll engage with supplier leadership at all levels, supporting development initiatives and transition activities within your assigned region. The position involves frequent on-site presence at supplier locations, playing a vital role in driving quality and performance improvements across our supply base.

 

JOB DUTIES:

Evaluate prospective supplier Quality Systems Evaluate procedures for compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements Monitor supplier Quality metrics associated with supplier capability, trends and related production improvement efforts Evaluate supplier capability based on 6 Sigma methodologies Train associates, suppliers, and contract personnel in Six Sigma techniques, Manufacturing Process Control, variation reduction, etc Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Have wide-ranging experience, use professional concepts and company objectives, internal and external contacts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways Provide technical insight to analyze risks and opportunities

 

YOU MUST HAVE:

Quality management or supplier quality experience, ideally in the automotive or mechanical engineering industry. Familiarity with Quality tools such as ISO 9001 Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken) for communication with international suppliers. Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative team player. Willingness to travel to supplier locations.
