In this role, you’ll engage with supplier leadership at all levels, supporting development initiatives and transition activities within your assigned region. The position involves frequent on-site presence at supplier locations, playing a vital role in driving quality and performance improvements across our supply base. **JOB DUTIES:** + Evaluate prospective supplier Quality Systems + Evaluate procedures for compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements + Monitor supplier Quality metrics associated with supplier capability, trends and related production improvement efforts + Evaluate supplier capability based on 6 Sigma methodologies + Train associates, suppliers, and contract personnel in Six Sigma techniques, Manufacturing Process Control, variation reduction, etc + Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors + Have wide-ranging experience, use professional concepts and company objectives, internal and external contacts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways + Provide technical insight to analyze risks and opportunities **YOU MUST HAVE:** + Quality management or supplier quality experience, ideally in the automotive or mechanical engineering industry. + Familiarity with Quality tools such as ISO 9001 + Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken) for communication with international suppliers. + Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative team player. + Willingness to travel to supplier locations. **WE VALUE:** + Project management experience + Experience using Six Sigma techniques and green belt certification + Comprehensive knowledge of advanced Quality engineering practices + Significant experience with quality assurance processes + High level of interpersonal skills is required to handle difficult situations as well as diffuse interpersonal conflict effectively + Familiarity with other Quality tools such as IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and related quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC). **WHATS IN IT FOR YOU:** + 5% of gross salary to either a SZEP Card, Health Fund or Pension Fund + Flexible working hour policy + Snack Card + Life Insurance + Annual Starting School Voucher + Gym & Swim Tickets + Family-Friendly Certified Workplace \#LI-FM1 \#LI-ONSITE Resideo is a leading global provider of critical comfort and security solutions primarily in residential environments and distributor of low-voltage electronic and security products.
