Job Responsibilities:
Lead development activities for underperforming suppliers through the Top Focus processConduct onsite assessment of potential suppliersParticipate in supplier tech reviewsMonitor supplier performance and identify underperforming suppliersSupport in corrective action review for major customer eventsParticipate and monitor the supplier APQP processProfessional experience and education:
Degree in a technical discipline preferred5 years’ experience in electronics manufacturingAbility to develop suppliers to meet global OEM regulations and requirementsExperience in supplier evaluation and development, continuous quality improvement, and open issues managementSolid understanding of APQP/PPAP requirements including Process Control Plan, SPC, GD&T, DFMEA, PFMEACertified Auditor to VDA 6.3Skills and competencies:
Hands on mentality with a proactive approach to identify and avoid problems in an early stageExperience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologiesStrong technical, engineering and communication skills in a global automotive environmentSolid organizational and project management skills and demonstrated effectiveness to lead and collaborate with cross functional/global teamsAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
