We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX however will require travel to suppliers and other Bell facilities.
Supplier Quality Assurance
Bring your ideas and experience to play a pivotal role in managing the supply base quality performance while mitigating risk and driving improvements throughout the supply chain. This includes qualifying suppliers through their management systems and capabilities, monitoring and partnering for quality performance improvement, communicating and supporting business objectives to ensure that quality product and processes are compliant at first receipt and throughout life of program.
What you’ll be doing as a Supplier Quality Assurance Sr Specialist
Performs Audits of Classified and Major suppliers, Processors and Service Providers, as applicable, to determine and maintain Supplier compliance to contract. Performs source inspections of product.Coordinates and facilitates Root Cause Corrective Action activities with Supplier, as a result of Audit, Compliance, and/or Product deficiencies or escapes. Conducts First Article Inspections, including validation and verification of engineering characteristics and requirements.Provides input and data for Corrective Action Board meetings, interacts with internal and external customers, and cross functional teams engaged in continuous improvement initiativesWe’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or Business Related degrees with relevant experience will be consideredMinimum of 5 years experience with supplier quality assurance and/or quality management preferably related Machine Parts, Tooling, Composites, and/or Avionics Ability to travel based on business needs to support other sites and suppliers.What we offer you in return
