Northrop Grumman Strategic Systems Division is seeking to hire a Supplier Mission Assurance Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get To Do:

Responsible for Supplier Quality risk management

Develop and implements supplier quality evaluation and control systems

Analyze contract and company requirements in order to flow applicable Q-clauses/quality requirements

Vet suppliers to contract and company requirements and onboard them to the Approved Supplier List

Assures supplier process and product quality, including contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance

Interfaces directly with supplier personnel and must be knowledgeable in and capable of assessing both supplier quality and manufacturing processes and procedures

Keeps management apprised of supplier performance, quality status, and risks

Coordinates and oversees Supplier Quality plan implementation through all program phases

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Science degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree and 0 or more years of relevant experience

Ability to develop, plan, and implement quality methods and strategies for procured items to assure the design, procurement, acceptance, and use of procured items.

Experience interfacing effectively with suppliers, customers, work associates/teams, and/or management.

Manufacturing or engineering experience

Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 requirements

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret clearance

Demonstrated written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to apply problem solving/critical thinking skills to support and resolve issues at the supply base

Experience with SAP

Experience performing Supplier Quality Assurance in an Engineering Manufacturing Development program

Experience in the aerospace/defense industry

Six Sigma or Lean certifications

Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
