At Micron, we are seeking an individual with a consistent track record of ensuring supply and have comprehensive knowledge of Capital Procure-to-Pay to join us as Technology Development Supplier Manager for Advanced Packaging Capital Procurement. Your primary role is to ensure seamless execution of all operational activities of our development purchases to support time-to-market of our technology development programs.

Responsibilities:

Procure-to-Pay Process

Interact with stakeholders to obtain necessary funding and approval at requisition stage.

Ensure all Technology Development purchases are according to defined process.

Engage with suppliers to confirm pricing, delivery, and terms on purchases.

Create Purchase Orders referencing agreed upon commercial and business terms, complying with applicable laws and company policies, and support the approval process.

Support delivery re-scheduling activities based on demand change triggers.

Collaborate with the suppliers and logistics department to meet shipping needs.

Finalize signoff process with suppliers and internal stakeholders before payment release.

Resolve any operational issues with regards to the purchasing process or system related issues.

Project Support to Optimize Procurement Services

Onboard new suppliers and establish relevant legal documents.

Follow up meetings with suppliers regarding deliveries and installation schedules (collaborating with internal stakeholders as required).

Escalate supplier issues or disputes to the agreed escalation path.

Provide administrative support to procurement organization to prepare for relevant supplier documentation.

Support Category Supplier Managers in executing NDA, Evaluation Agreement, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of work experiences in Purchasing/Procurement or Supply chain preferred.

Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (eg. Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) is a plus

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Strong attention to the details and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Analyze data and information to improve procurement processes

Proven experience working effectively in a matrixed and global organization

Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with the assigned suppliers
