Supplier Coordinator - Procurement (Kansas City)
This Supplier Coordinator facilitates the creation and maintenance of supplier records in the supplier database. This position coordinates externally with suppliers to collect required supplier information and internally with project management to provide project teams with information to make informed selections of appropriate suppliers for project and program needs.Coordinate the solicitation of required supplier registration information.Resolves questions regarding registration process and entry of data by suppliers.Review supplier registration and required documentation for completeness and data quality.Assist project and procurement personnel to expedite supplier submittal of registration information.Assist suppliers encountering issues with the registration application.Assist project management and procurement personnel in the identification of qualified suppliers to support project requirements.Maintenance and update of supplier information in the database based on information received through invoices or other correspondence from suppliers.Contact suppliers directly to verify submitted information as appropriate to maintain data quality.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards
