SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST in the Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement Group, Cyber Warfare Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will serve as a Division Head, responsible for the overall management, technical coordination, and conduct of Division personnel including Scientists, Engineers, IT Specialists, and Military Officers. You will ensure the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture. You will develop and maintain strategic plans, setting strategic vision for the division in response to command/department initiatives and serve as a senior technical expert in support of cyber technical warrant authorities. You will continuously monitor and assess management issues, emerging technologies, changing operational requirements, mandates, and corporate objectives to ensure that resources are effectively integrated and responsive to customer needs. You will define the essential capabilities to satisfy the technical expertise in areas of demand, establishing working relationships with stakeholders, and ensure personnel maintain proper interface in matters related to assigned responsibilities. You will manage knowledge, skills, and abilities across the division, leading to meet employee position eligibility, skill development, cyber knowledge, skills and abilities to meet proficiency for technical areas and certification requirements. You will be responsible for fiscal planning, management, and communication of the division’s resources (workforce and material). You will be required to manage funds provided and control tasking throughout TEAM-wide locations. You will participate in department hiring actions and provide oversite to all division hiring actions as well as establish performance objectives and conduct performance ratings, recommend awards and bonuses. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13/14) grade level or (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing and executing customer relationship management, work ingestion, financial monitoring, configuration management, and requirements for management processes; 2) Possessing expert technical expertise in all IT functional areas, and ability to integrate this expertise with practical knowledge of the mission, objectives, and operations; 3) Directing the planning of resources to accomplish major blocks of engineering, technical, or business endeavor which involve key portions of significant industrial resources and long-range commitments of agency dollar allocations. 4) Leading a team by planning and preparing performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work; and 5) Providing management and oversight of the architecture, procurement, and processes used by the NAVAIR community for information technology. 6.
