Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the NUCLEAR ENGINEERING and PLANNING DEPARTMENT, NUCLEAR MATERIAL DIVISION (Code 2305) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will supervise subordinates for assigned areas and oversee and manage nuclear material work assigned to PHNSY and IMF. You will ensure all material required for the repair and alteration of ships during availabilities are ordered, expedited, received and inspected to support production schedules. You will coordinate material management issues and challenges outside of the shipyard. You will exercise both administrative and technical supervision over subordinates for nuclear project material work. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work. You will oversee and manage material needs and ensure owned components are overhauled and returned expeditiously. You will provide technical advice, guidance, and resolves all supply program management problems encountered. You will review and analyze current operations, work in progress, and supply plans in relation to operational feasibility, adequacy, uniformity, and conformance to regulatory requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of nuclear material management programs and systems and resolving difficult issues and problems in involving supply processes, work methods, supply data management, and day-to-day nuclear supply chain operational procedures.
