Job Description

The Supervisory Consultant is responsible for producing and facilitating the production of compliant work products to support the tactical services department. This position will report to a managing consultant and will have a team of direct reports.

Core Responsibilities:

Clear and concise communications both internally and externally – written and verbalResearch of Customs and Other Government Agency regulationsDraft analysis and opinion lettersManage multiple ongoing projects and project deadlines while keeping clients updatedDaily tracking of project time of self and team membersContribute to departmental improvementsWork effectively both independently and as part of a team – collaboration, flexibility, adaptabilityTake direction from the managerOversee a team of direct reportsContribute to administration of the team with hiring, evaluations, and coaching for improvement discussionsAbility to accomplish goals while working through othersFollow department and company processes, procedures and policiesAssist with creating team processes and proceduresAbility to speak to Classification Service offerings with clients and understand how the import process works

QualificationsLCB preferred or actively pursuingProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication/presentation skillsProblem Solving/Critical thinking skillsClassification experience across multiple chapters in the tariff preferredPrior Project Management and or team leadership experience preferredDemonstrated customer service skills
