Fairview's Nurse Advisors provides nurse triage (via telephone ) services for Fairview clinics, urgent care, ER's and other Non-Fairview entities. Due to growth, we are recruiting for a RN Supervisor to join our leadership team to support our Nurse Triage Contact Center - Nurse Advisors. The position is located at our Midway Campus in St. Paul, MN. Schedule: This opening is 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two weeks) on our evening shift with an every other weekend rotation. On call during non-working hours, on a rotation with other supervisors. Training: Training for this position requires flexibility to work full time (1.0 FTE) on-site for 4-6 weeks. Our training shifts are variable including days, mid-shift, evenings, and weekends. Following training, we work remotely. The work from home location is required to be within driving distance from Midway Corporate Campus in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Duties: This position is responsible for providing employee training, education, daily workflow monitoring, process improvement, and implementation of changes for the Triage Nurse Advisors department The position strives to assure continuous compliance with established competency, accuracy and performance improvement measures Collaborates with clinic/ER manager Supervises RN triage staff to problem solve concern Collect, analyze, and report data on a regular basis Handle related customer service concerns Work with medical director on guidelines and other issues with clinical upgrades Review, change and educate staff on clinical upgrades. Responsible for assisting with department effectiveness by filling in for absent employees on any shift, or day of week Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in a clinical setting. 3-5 years in a clinic or triage RN work experience 1-3 years of supervisory experience RN State of Minnesota License RN State of Wisconsin License (within 120 days of hire) BLS for the Healthcare Professional Preferred Continuing education beyond bachelor’s degree. 4-7 years of management experience. 1-3 years of call center experience Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
