The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Purpose of the Role:
To assist the Chief Store keeper and the Warehouse Manager to oversee goods received from suppliers (in collaboration with Expediting team) and management of the delivery to various sites (in collaboration with Traffic and Transport department) within the Snowy 2.0 Project.

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role in major civil infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity to the project Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works Warehousing, distribution, shipping management experience Experience in Microsoft Office suite Experience working with ERP SAP to the extent that the employee is highly proficient

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of goods received and delivered Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in the receipt, storage, retrieval and the timely dispatch of goods from warehouse. Ensure all workplace health and safety requirements are met. Support in arranging all material in warehouse and lay-down yards as efficiently as possible to maximize productivity of personnel and utilization of space. Proactively initiate & implement improvements to warehouse where applicable. Analyse information and evaluate results to choose best solution to a given situation.
