Product Manager 

The Product Manager is a member of the Park City Ski and Snowboard School supervisory team who reports directly to the Location Manager. This positions primary responsibility is to lead the supervisory team to ensure that all products are appropriately staffed to accommodate the projected business needs at their location. The product manager works as the liaison between the children’s school, adult school, and the product sales team to manage this process.  Additionally, this role is responsible for the overall delivery of the Children’s Ski and Snowboard School products within our daily operation.

This is a salaried winter seasonal position.

Job Responsibilities: 

Leadership 

Leader among Supervisors: exhibits a strong, confident, and reassuring leadership presence Actively involved with the Location Manager in the development and growth of the supervisory team Ensures consistency of Supervisor actions, consistency of EOS reviews, adherence to SOP’s, and guest service standards Acts as the Manager on duty in the absence of the Location Manager


Management 

Staffing and Scheduling 

Assists Location manager in forecasting and evaluating staffing levels relative to business needs Monitors product inventory levels in RPOS; communicates and works with the Location Manager to maximize revenue opportunities through the efficient utilization of instructors Monitors instructor schedule changes and RPOS scheduling accuracy  Addresses compliance issues with supervisors and instructors (Ex. Days off, sick calls, etc…) Ensures proper mix of certified and experienced instructors within all products; facilitates the fair and equitable movement and assignment of instructors among all products, programs, and locations. Communicates regularly with, the Location Managers, Product Managers, Private Lesson Concierge and Private Lesson Administrators to facilitate the proper allocation of instructors to private lessons 

Operations 

Takes the lead in Guest service issues and provides support to supervisors in service and recovery efforts in our on-snow daily operations. Administer accurate record keeping and reporting systems. Ensures the timely submittal of payroll information by supervisors Mentoring, observations, coaching, feedback and evaluation of instructors and supervisors Assign daily tasks and make lesson assignments for instructors scheduled to your work area each day. Responsible for supervisory team SOP compliance. Ensures all staff are following company and departmental policies, procedures. Scheduling practices and Daily assignments are complete and posted Timely Recognition and Disciplinary actions and follow up Responsive and attentive to GX comments and actively executes guest recovery. Lead special activities, and maintain facilities – including kids rental facilities  Responsible to assist with hiring, interviewing candidates and training  

 

Job Requirements: 

Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of demographics in line with our DEI value Demonstrated ability to perform in a high paced, variable, multi-faceted environment with the ability to multi-task Strong computer competency required - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows based applications and internet based software Experience with RPOS or RTP preferred College degree and/or two years relevant proven leadership experience in related field, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired PSIA/AASI Level 2 Certification (or equivalent international certification) preferred   Strong Skiing or Snowboarding skills - Possesses the ability to Ski/Ride most terrain in order to appropriately respond and travel to on hill situations  Able to withstand lengthy exposure to cold and inclement weather  Able to sit at computer for extended periods of time  Physical strength and ability to respond appropriately to emergency and other unplanned situations 

 

The expected pay range is $59,500 - $65,500 Annually. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
