Job Details:
SUMMARY: The role involves ensuring high production levels, quality, and yields while maintaining the safest possible working environment. Key responsibilities include understanding and controlling the production process, accurate record-keeping, general line maintenance, and staffing. Specific duties include verifying daily production orders to meet customer requirements, ensuring all positions are filled before production starts, supervising Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to support ergonomics, and ensuring machinery operates at peak performance. Additional tasks include ensuring workstations pass USDA inspections, promoting daily and monthly safety initiatives, ensuring accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and proper product coding. The role also involves communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members, encouraging them to build a strong team, and handling human relations functions such as training, retention, and counseling on personal and professional issues. Other duties include overseeing various processing operations, collaborating with other supervisors to solve problems, maintaining records of reworked or returned products, providing ongoing education on quality importance, and performing additional responsibilities as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment; prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.Education: High school diploma required; additional education through special training, vocational school, or college courses is preferred.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are helpful.Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential.Supervisory: Responsible for supervising a team performing similar and related tasks or activities.Travel: Occasional travel, approximately 1-5 trips per year.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
