Supervisor- Physical Security Officer
This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Are you ready to manage a team of onsite security officers, ensuring a safe and secure work environment across corporate campuses? As a Supervisor, Physical Security Officer at Spectrum, you will protect people, assets, and information by maintaining order and safeguarding Spectrum's interests.  

In this role, you will oversee the professional operation and quality assurance of your team. This includes scheduling, training, managing, and executing security plans. You will effectively handle multiple priorities, complex situations, and a diverse team, being prepared to step into the manager's role when needed. 


How You’ll Make an Impact 

Conduct all aspects of the daily security operations on-site including execution of the overall security plan 
Review, manage, and closeout incident reports 
Coordinate and liaise with internal business partners  
Assist in the preparation of security surveys and post orders 
Coordinate effective staffing, scheduling, and payroll management  
Ensure that required security training is conducted, completed, monitored, and measured  
Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under their direct supervision.  
Serve as backup to physical security officer positions when needed to ensure coverage is maintained, including irregular hours and weekends Occasional supervision of special events on and off campus 

Working Conditions 

Office environment 
Willing to work irregular hours and weekend as needed 
Major activity, including walking and standing for significant periods of time 

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum 

Required Qualifications 

Education
Associate's degree or higher in Business Management, Criminal Justice, or related field or equivalent work experience (4+ Years in Corporate Security) 
Experience
4+ years of Physical and/or Corporate Security related experience 
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English  
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately, and employ appropriate measures  
Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors  
Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public  
Ability to successfully complete all training required for the position  
Ability to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military  
Ability to develop and implement processes  
Ability to assess and evaluate complex situations effectively  
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have access to reliable transportation  
Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules  
Consistently display a professional and positive attitudeDirect experience working with access control systems (preference for RS2), guard tour, video systems or other security-related technology Demonstrated proficiency using office software/computer skills (re: MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel) Preferred Experience1-2 years management/supervisory experience in corporate security
