Job Description Insight Global’s customer in the Energy Utilities space is looking for a Supervisor of Energy Settlement Accounting to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely settlement and reconciliation of various energy commodities including natural gas, power, coal, oil, and propane, along with their associated financial transactions. The supervisor will lead contract administration support, financial reporting, and ensure proper closeout and accrual processes across multiple operating entities. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 4 or more years of experience in accounting/finance experience in the Energy or Utilities Industry, or a related field. Professional experience performing Pivot Tables, VLookup, and creation of formulas in Microsoft Excel. Professional experience with Energy Trading, Risk Management, and ERP Systems. 2 years of direct experience in commodity settlements within a regulated environment Professional experience in commodity accounting Professional experience with Allegro and SAP At least 1 year in a senior or lead role with supervisory responsibilities
