Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing radiation protection support for the safe, cost-effective, and reliable operation of DBNPS.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Plan, organize, direct and control RP resources.Ensure adherence to regulations, policies and procedures.Ensure RP employees are trained and qualified to perform assigned tasks.Support and assist in the operation of DBNPS.Overview assigned projects.Represent department in committees, meetings, and task forcesComplete other assignments as directed by the Radiation Protection Manager.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:

Shall have High School diploma or EquivalentPrefer B.S. in a radiological/nuclear field or equivalent experience in discipline.Shall have Four Years experience in radiation protection craft or disciplineGood communication and interpersonal skills.Experience commensurate with level of assigned responsibility.Good leadership skills.
