The Supervisor Manufacturing Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Immunoassay (IA) and Blood Virus (BV) Filling Departments, ensuring production schedules and KPIs are met, driving safety and compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that significantly impact operational efficiency and product quality.

This position is part of the Manufacturing Operations team located in Lismeehan, Co Clare, and will be fully on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

 In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Supervise daily operations in the IA/BV Filling Departments.Set and manage daily, weekly, and monthly priorities aligned with production schedules and KPIs.Drive a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety procedures and 4E completion.Lead and develop a team through regular communication, performance reviews, and coaching.Ensure materials and resources are aligned with production needs through cross-functional collaboration.Represent the department at cross-functional team meetings (CFTMs).Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizens, DIVE, PSP).

The essential requirements of the job include

Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) with 2+ years’ supervisory experience, or master’s with 1+ years’ experience.Proven ability to lead teams and deliver strong departmental performance.ERP system experience (Oracle or equivalent).Strong knowledge of quality systems and audit preparedness.Proven experience of continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or DBS tools. 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Leading Kaizen or continuous improvement events.Working in a regulated diagnostics or medical device manufacturing environment.
