SUMMARY:

The Supervisor Live Haul is a crucial role responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of live broilers to the processing plant. This includes scheduling the catching, loading, and hauling processes while closely monitoring DOAs (Dead on Arrival).

Key ResponsibilitiesPromote Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for all team members.Monitor Operations: Oversee drivers' time and ELD logs, and review and coach through Drive Cam videos.Coordination: Ensure drivers and catchers arrive on time at the farm and plant.Collaboration: Work closely with catch contractors, Live Haul Manager, and driver supervisor to ensure smooth operations.Adaptability: Make necessary changes to the catch and haul schedule as needed.Supervision: Supervise and assist personnel in the repair of cages.Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as they arise.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

3 plus years experience in live haul or equivalent.Class A CDL preferred.Welding experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills.Ability to send and answer emails.Proficiency in building and changing spreadsheets.

Supervisory:

Responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.

Travel:

1 per year.
