**Job Description:**
The Supervisor-Field Logistics is responsible for overseeing supply chain activities for assigned facilities and clinical programs. This role includes managing inventory, ensuring contract compliance, handling product substitutions, standardizing processes, and maintaining budget accountability. The supervisor collaborates with department and clinical program managers to deliver efficient services. Key responsibilities include managing daily inventory operations for the assigned department, facility, or clinical program, as well as overseeing scheduling, performance management, and training.
**Schedule** **: Monday - Friday**
**Hours** **: 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm**
**Essential Functions**
+ The incumbent manages a facility or works at a larger facility and manages and Supervises distribution and replenishment activity for assigned facility or clinical program.
+ Prioritizes activities to ensure the most efficient flow of supplies and highest fill rates.
+ Ensures accuracy of all inventory activity for all assigned inventories through the efficient use of replenishment systems, tools, and processes.
+ Oversees inventory cycle count program in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP's) while utilizing available system tools and reports.
+ Replenishes supplies in assigned and approved inventory storage locations. Ensures inventory is being managed proactively considering department or clinical program workflow, utilization, and regulatory requirements.
+ Trains new caregivers according to department policy and procedure, to ensure they possess the skills necessary to perform their job functions.
+ Helps caregivers achieve their goals that have been established to assist with and ensure their success. Hires, onboards, coaches, gives constructive discipline and terminates caregivers as needed.
+ Maintains assigned Inventory Business Unit (IBU) inventory levels according to Intermountain benchmarks to ensure products throughout the facility are at the appropriate levels.
+ Coordinates the use of the SCIS system in support of replenishment, inventory management, receiving, and other inventory 'activity' or processes.
+ Oversees inventory control processes (e.g., cycle counting etc).

**Physical Requirements:**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Two years of related Materials Management experience and one year of experience working within Intermountain Healthcare.
+ Experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
+ Demonstrated ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, computed reports, and like objects.
+ Experience performing a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow verbal and written instructions, and understand customer communications.
+ Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
+ Demonstrated ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment (e.g., hand truck, carts).
+ Experience in a role working with healthcare supplies.
+ Knowledge of surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments.
**Physical Requirements**
+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, etc. and to identify equipment and supplies.
+ Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing, operating telephones, and other office equipment.
+ Expected to bend, lift, and carry patient files, documents, equipment, and supplies.
+ Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time while interacting with others or to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$25.79 - $39.81
