Summary: 

The Supervisor - Growth, Transportation- Fleet, Midwest reports to and supports the Director of Growth in driving business development, client retention, and cross-selling efforts within a designated Line of Business (LOB) or Specialty. This role is focused on coordinating daily operations, coaching frontline team members, and ensuring that growth strategies are executed effectively. The Supervisor acts as a connector between team leaders and advisors, reinforcing performance expectations and promoting a client-first mindset across all interactions. As a key contributor to a high-performance culture, the Supervisor promotes operational excellence, team accountability, and alignment with Acrisure’ s client-focused values. 

 

Scope:  

The Supervisor – Growth, Transportation- Fleet, Midwest is responsible for supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives, optimizing workflows, and guiding team members toward business development goals. This role plays a critical part in fostering strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth, and ensuring operational alignment with organizational goals. The Supervisor contributes to the team's overall efficiency by promoting collaboration, process adherence, and a culture of accountability. 

  

Essential Responsibilities: 

Team Support & Development 
Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to team members to support performance, growth goals, and skill development. Assist with onboarding, ongoing training, and contributing to a high-performance culture in coordination with the Growth Manager. 

Performance Execution 
Help implement LOB-specific growth strategies by coordinating team efforts, tracking performance metrics, and escalating issues or opportunities to the Manager as needed. 

New Business & Relationship Support 
Support client advisors in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. Maintain regular touchpoints with key clients to assist in retention and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities. 

Market & Revenue Insight 
Monitor trends and competitive activity in a specific line of business, share insights with leadership, and support initiatives aimed at expanding services or market reach. 

Operational & Submission Support 
Collaborate with team members to prepare accurate and timely submission materials for new and renewing accounts, ensuring documentation is complete and aligned with operational standards. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 
Liaise between the Growth Manager and internal teams—sales, marketing, placement, and operations—to ensure aligned execution of strategies and streamlined communication. 

Technology & Process Optimization 
Promote the use of technology and internal tools to enhance workflow efficiency, ensure adoption of best practices, and support ongoing process improvement efforts. 

  

Essential Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred 

Must currently hold an active insurance license 

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries 

Proven experience in managing and supporting teams, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence. 

Experience supporting business development lifecycle.  

Self-motivating and has the ability to motivate others to achieve and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Excellent business and people decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities 

Model positive energy and handle stress in the face of challenges, deadlines, and aggressive financial commitments. 

Excellent leadership and coaching ability 

Deep understanding of markets, clients, and competitors  

Adept at cultivating and growing productive, long-term customer relationships.
