A Supervisor of Food and Beverage is responsible for assisting in the daily management of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage operations (restaurants, banquets, coffee shop, room service, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.


What will I be doing?

 

As a Supervisor of Food and Beverage, you would be responsible for assisting in the daily management of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage operations (restaurants, banquets, room service, coffee shops, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring service is efficient, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.

Lead and support team members by providing ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback; create schedules that balance labor productivity with service needs.

Motivate and engage staff to deliver exceptional guest service, fostering a positive and professional work environment.

 Monitor inventory and supply levels, coordinate with vendors, and manage requisitions to prevent shortages or waste.

 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.

Respond to guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally, turning service challenges into opportunities to build loyalty.

Collaborate with the management team to implement service enhancements, achieve financial and productivity goals, and support hotel-wide initiatives.

Assist with event setups and F&B activations as needed, ensuring banquet and outlet operations run smoothly.

Provide operational support across multiple areas of the hotel, including Taste, Banquets, Comp Breakfast/Evening Reception, and Starbucks as business levels require.
