We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As an Echo Sonographer, you will work closely with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies. You will work closely with Cardiovascular Imaging Center (CVIC) managers to develop and maintain an Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, Nuclear, PET, CT and Cardiac Sonography QA program for training and orienting all new and existing department employees, equipment documentation and maintenance records. You will be responsible for ACS and ICAEL lab accreditation and re-accreditation in Nuclear, PET/CT, Vascular and Echo Lab accreditation. + You will perform diagnostic testing on both inpatient and outpatient bases + You will set up and perform vascular ultrasound, cardiac ultrasound and nuclear cardiology studies + You will perform necessary measurements and calculations related to the result of the Echocardiogram + You will order supplies for the Echo lab and coordinate day to day operations of the lab + You will document exams in logbook prepare exam tracing for physician review, interpret and enter appropriate charges into Meditech + You will corroborate patients’ clinical history with procedure and assures information is documented and available for use by licensed practitioner + You will be responsible for the Employee Staffing and On-Call Schedule + You will be responsible for developing and reporting an ongoing department based Quality and Performance Improvement Program **What qualifications you will need:** + Basic Cardiac Life Support + (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer + Associate Degree, or Certificate, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree + Bachelors Degree in related technological field - preferred + Two years of clinical diagnostic vascular and/or cardiopulmonary evaluation experience St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center (https://stdavids.com/location/st-davids-round-rock-medical-center) is a 200 **+ bed** acute-care facility located north of Austin, Texas.
