What Sales Support Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Sales is responsible for providing sales support through direct involvement in the sales process, either by helping persuade customer buying decisions or involvement in the effective implementation of solutions to support the attainment of the organization's sales objectives. Sales Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Sales Support function.
Location: Minas Gerais
Scope: 4 direct reports in Rio, Brasilia, Recife and Mina Gerais
Drives peak performance and sales success across the organization
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
Develops, and implements strategic sales and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Develops and recommends product positioning, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
Performs other duties in line with business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or significant work experience may be substituted for post-secondary education
4+ yrs sales experience in medical device sales
2+ yrs experience successfully managing sales teams, solid mentorship, and leadershi skills
Advance proficiency in English is required (read, write, speak)
Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire a regionally based sales team
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Previous experience in medical device sales or related business
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to travel <50%
