Job Summary
The Supervisor I, Clinic oversees the daily operations of a healthcare clinic, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality patient care, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. This position provides leadership to clinic staff, manages administrative and operational processes, and collaborates with providers to optimize clinic performance. The Supervisor I serves as a key resource for staff development, process improvement, and patient experience initiatives.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, including administrative, operational, or clinical support roles required 1-2 years in a supervisory, lead, or leadership capacity preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise and develop clinic staff. Knowledge of clinic operations, patient scheduling, and healthcare workflows. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, providers, and patients. Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance clinic efficiency and patient experience. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring a high level of service and compliance.Licenses and Certifications
Certification in healthcare management, medical office administration, or a related area preferred
