General Summary
Supervises business office and other administrative functions of the outpatient behavioral health clinic. Supervises business office personnel to include recruiting, orientation, training, performance evaluation and counseling. Performs administrative duties of a general nature.

Recommends staffing levels, selects and assigns staff, evaluates performance, evaluates/tests competencies (as applicable), provides orientation, training and continuing education of staff, and initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions. Assists in the development of the annual budget for the clinic. Responsible for monitoring expenditures at the facility, looking for cost containment opportunities by promoting efficient utilization of staff and services. May perform financial analysis for budget variances. When applicable, works cooperatively with site/department/entity leaders by providing input into annual performance reviews of facility staff. Assists in developing, establishing, and the implementing goals, objectives, policies and procedures which guide and support successful provisions of service. Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required. Serves as a positive role model. Assists in compiling and analyzing data for special reports to assess operational and financial performance as well as identify and correct trends that negatively impact the practice. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains professional growth and development. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Minimum Education:
Work Experience:
1 year Relevant experience. Required and Supervisory experience. Required and Demonstrated experience in employee supervision. Required Physician/mental health office experience.
