Pay: $67.27 - $94.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
This position reports directly to the Manager of Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services and is responsible for coordination and supervision of ambulatory clinical pharmacy services for UCHA/Metro Denver. The Supervisor will ensure alignment of clinical pharmacy services with departmental and organizational strategies that optimize the patient care experience, leverage top of scope work, and drive performance in the ambulatory care setting. Areas of responsibility include ambulatory clinical pharmacy services supporting the UCHA specialty practices, anticoagulation pharmacy services, and clinical pharmacy care delivery supporting primary care.
Responsibilities:
+ Direct supervision of ambulatory care clinical pharmacy personnel.
+ Lead initiatives that assess program quality and improve efficiencies.
+ Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, and performance management to assigned staff.
+ Maintain accountability for utilization of UCHealth outpatient and specialty pharmacies.
+ Perform front-line clinical pharmacist responsibilities as needed for direct patient care. Leads handling and resolution of complex issues.
+ Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, including collaborative practice agreements.
+ Active participation and representation on pharmacy-focused and multidisciplinary committees.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
+ State licensure as a Pharmacist.
+ 2 years of post-graduate experience.
Preferred:
+ Advanced residency training (PGY1, PGY2) or equivalent ambulatory care experience.
+ Previous supervisory experience preferred.
