Job Overview:
The Clinical Supervisor Will Provide overall direction and coordination of clinical services to residents and non-residents, and help improve the quality of client care by providing support, guidance, and instruction to staff handling complex cases.
Qualification
Required:
Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology is required.LCSW or LPC required.2 years Clinical experienceSupervisory Certificate for NJKnowledge of the Dynamics of Domestic Violence Completion of the required 40 Hour Domestic Violence training preferred/must be completed within 6 months of hire.Knowledge of the DYFS System helpfulBi-lingual (English Spanish) preferred but not necessaryPreferred:

Provide overall direction and coordination of clinical services to residents and non-residents.
Provide Crisis Intervention and assist clients in identifying their need for Domestic Violence services.Provide individual counseling to residents and non-residents.Facilitate weekly support groups as needed.Provide Community Education and support outreach as needed.Responsible for other duties assigned by the Program DirectProvide Crisis Intervention and assist clients in identifying their need for Domestic ViolenceProvide weekly Clinical Supervision for our Domestic Violence Liaisons, who handle complex client cases involving the co-occurrence of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence by helping them to attain knowledge, improve their skills, and strengthen their professional attitudes and values. Provide weekly Clinical Supervision to our Licensed CounselHelp staff understand and respond more effectively to all types of clinical situations by creating a supportive and trustworthy environment in which to explore all client related concerns.Possess knowledge and understanding of multicultural perspectives to enhance cultural competency of the agency.Provide Supervision to interns when needed.Maintain confidential documentation and records.
