Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Gundersen Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registration Supervisor to lead our registration team in Whitehall, WI.
This pivotal role will guide a team of registration specialists who are the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their overall experience.
The Supervisor will collaborate closely with clinical leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions to ensure standardization and quality control while providing leadership and accountability to organizational performance metrics and compliance of regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily operations for roughly ~16 direct reports that include Patient Liaisons and Scheduling Specialists to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Facilitate the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for consistent and compliant registration practices.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery
Train, schedule, and support staff to ensure a productive and positive work environment
What's Available:
Full-time, salaried position
Location: Tri-County Whitehall Hospital and Clinic, Whitehall, WI
Schedule: Hours typically between Monday-Friday days with willingness to work outside standard hours as business needs permit
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.
Experience: 3-4 years of experience healthcare business operations, patient business office/registration, or medical office billing/claims, with demonstration of increasing responsibility.
Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Collaboration: Works well with cross-functional teams and fosters a cooperative work culture.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
