Job Description

Pay Rates Starting between: $68,640.00 - $103,040.00 / year

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Site Manager. The role of the Warehouse Supervisor is to supervise and work alongside the warehouse personnel. The primary focus is to create both safe and effective operations. The supervisor is responsible for setting the tone of the working environment by maintaining a professional and positive attitude while providing direction and guidance to staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain, support, and promote a safe and efficient work environment while complying with all of SC Fuels’ safety rules, policies, and proceduresPreserve the cleanliness of the inside of the building and the parking lotSafely operate a forklift and pallet jackOffload bulk and package trucks and check-in driversRefill (down stack) inventoryCommunicate with the Site Manager on any warehouse or forklift issues that need to be addressedWork with Site Manager to complete inventory processAssist with counting inventory on the last business day of the monthAssist with the re-counting inventory on the first business day of the monthPump bulk oil into totes or drums, as needed for spaceCollect and maintain oil samplesMaintain inventory/ location/ bin assignmentsNotify Site Manager of low stockRefill/monitor propane and oilClean totesClean/maintain hazardous waste areaOrganize equipment areaPerform other job-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Qualifications

The following knowledge base is required:

At least 1 year of experience safely operating a forklift and pallet jackBasic strong computer skillsStrong understanding of and dedication to providing exceptional customer serviceAptitude to follow oral and written instructions and read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to prioritize and organize tasksPositive attitude and critical thinking skillsRequired to pass SC Fuels’ forklift certification course

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance, climb, and reach overhead.Must be able to handle (using both hands and arms and rotation of the hand or wrist).Must be able to walk, sit and stand for an extended period of time.Must be able to carry, push, pull, and lift in excess of 100 pounds.Must be able to engage in coherent speech and possess capacity to hear loud and soft noises.
