The Upfront Review Supervisor is responsible for quality review of all pertinent customer information for accuracy and completeness in order to meet payer requirements for timely and maximum reimbursement.
Maintains extensive knowledge of all guidelines and policies set forth by each insurance payer to ensure compliance and timely reimbursement
Ensures that department has evaluated all received documents to ensure that appropriate information has been obtained to allow for successful accounts receivable
Manages timely completion
Communicates with office staff, department members, and centers to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data
Reviews various reports for quality assurance
Ensures staff is recording all activity relating to account in tickler files
Supports operating centers by providing training to ensure compliance and completeness of paperwork submitted to the regional billing and collection office (RBCO)
Assists management in the implementation of new policies and procedures relating to compliance
Supports RBCO collection process and active communication with AR Supervisors
Prioritizes and distributes assigned work in the UFR Department
Provides training
Possible travel into field
Interviews and hires in UFR Department
