Job Summary

Responsible for the Securities Lending team. Is responsible for the timely settlement of all Securities Lending related trade activity across various international markets and will successfully manage potential impact to RBC Investor & Treasury Services custody clients (both internal and external). The role involves provision of support to the International Securities Lending trading desks, and the development and management of relationships with borrowers and several internal departments.

What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a global operations team support the Securities Lending Desk ensuring a dynamic operational support that will allow the trading groups to meet their goals of meeting or exceeding Revenue, Expense and Profit targets.

Working hours : 3pm-12am / 4pm-1am

Region : Europe

What will you do?

Works closely with manager of department to achieve department and organization goals.To provide input to Lending manager on the performance of staff.Constantly seeking increase production accuracyAction oriented – exhibits drive, motivation, communication and decision-making skills.Displays leadership and demonstrates ability to adapt to changes.Identifying and encourage process improvement ideas.To assist Lending Manager in the efficiency and productivity of the team.Achieve all SLA’s that have been agreed.Analyze and Interpret MI’sReviewing of process procedures periodically
 

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

At least a College degreeAny prior banking experience in operations / Back office is a plusPC literate in MS Office applications Excel andWord Knowledge of different investment instrument types4 years relevant Securities Operations/financial services  experienceAbility to work under pressure and to prioritize actionsGood Verbal and written communication skillsMotivated, flexible, able to be part of a team
