Supervisor, Revenue Cycle - CBO Phys Div Billing - Full Time - Days

This position provides leadership for best practice implementation, using process improvement tools to identify breakthrough strategies across Revenue Cycle (RC) areas that result in significant and documented improvement. This position will collaborate with RC leadership to prepare performance metrics and analysis, identify opportunities, and support the implementation of solutions to enhance performance. Additional responsibilities will include developing and maintaining RC auditing and training programs.

Manages, coordinates, and champions multiple RC initiatives across the Network to improve processes and financial performance following a standardized process for identifying and launching improvement initiatives. Collaborates with RC associates and vendors to prepare performance metrics and analysis used to identify performance improvement opportunities. Ability to articulate the business case for such changes.  Establish RC wide standardized policies and process based on industry best practices, incorporating changed management principles and delivering high quality results. Develops, maintains, and manages a RC training program which includes new hire orientation and continuing education to ensure staff is aware of and follows establied RC policies and procedures. Develops, maintains, and manages a RC auditing program providing meaningful feedback to RC leadership and staff. Creates and delivers presentation as needed. Keeps abreast and knowledgeable of current healthcare regulations and Epic changes Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (e.g. BSN required, MSN preferred.):

EDUCATION: Former working knowledge; equivalent to an  Associates degree (2 years college)

        

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

        

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of three years lead experience in a large healthcare seeing with responsibility for revenue cycle operations; Minimum of three years familiarity with Patient Financial Services processes for claim generation and submission, billing edits, and medical necessity guidelines.
