POSITION SUMMARY  This position will develop and execute maintenance programs and initiatives to improve reliability.  Work with plant managers to prioritize and schedule maintenance needs at the plant.  Investigates poor equipment performance or failures to determine cause; make adjustments, repairs, and/or modifications as needed.  Fully develop and implement a world-class maintenance management system through the utilization of the JD Edwards CMMS platform.  Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics. Other duties as assigned. Position based at Mill Creek Limestone  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   Understands accountability; proven leadership skills and a track record for creating employee ownership of safety production and qualityProject management and installation experience preferredAble to develop and manage department and project budgetsProficient on PC to include MS Office suite; CMMS or other similar programs would be a plusAble to develop and execute predictive and preventative maintenance practicesCapable of completing accurate and thorough performance evaluationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsKnowledge of MSHA or OSHA safety regulations and requirementsAbility to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekends  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Industrial Civil), Construction Management or equivalent experience required3+ years' experience in maintenance operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, scrubbers, conveyors, and associated mobile equipment preferredMinimum 5+ year supervisory experience in a mining environment preferredBilingual Spanish a plusMust maintain a valid driver’s license  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsVisual acuity, speech & hearing, hand & eye coordinationWalking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, balancing, repetitive motion, standing, sitting, and driving to perform the essential functionsMust use proper Personal Protective Equipment as requiredMust be able to work in all types of weather conditions  TRAVEL Minimal outside travel will be required.  WORKING CONDITIONS Works in all weather conditions including heat, cold, ice, rain and in high humidity and is required to work in all plant environments.
